E&S Manufacturing specializes in the manufacturing of balls for ball valves. Balls are made in a size range from 1" to 20" and from materials ranging from low carbon steel to exotic alloys and pressure classes from 150# to 10,000#. E&S balls are used in various applications including pipe line valves, down hole shut off tools, kelly and safety, production and processing valves to name a few.

In addition to supplying components for all types of valves, E&S utilizes its versatile equipment to also provide machined components and assemblies for elevators, paper mills, rail cars, drilling equipment, transformers, well heads, automotive equipment, clutch assemblies and lifting equipment.

Floating Ball Valves

Technical Control Systems Floating Ball and Check Valves can easily be combined to fabricate an entire manifold system. Technical Control Systems also manufactures a complete line of manifold fittings to help assemble a standard or custom system.

Floating Ball Valve Features and Benefits

Stem and Bonnet seals can be replaced without removing the valve from the piping system. Standard O-rings and Backups used throughout.
Cast handle Indicates ball position. Easily repositioned to any quadrant. Removable to accept factory or field mounted actuators or gear operators.
Seat Seal designs Reduce torque and ensure the ball cavity and the upstream pressure are always equalized.
O-ring Seals and Back-ups can be provided in a wide variety of materials ensuring positive stem sealing at all pressures.
Giant button head grease fitting to allow for routine service reducing torque and increasing valve life.
Large stem thrust bearing provides primary stem sealing and smooth operation.

Check Valves Features and Benefits

Solid Wrought Body reduces leak paths and provides for greater material integrity.
Stainless, Inconel or Elgiloy springs to suit any application. Provides positive shut off in low flow applications
Resilient and metal to metal sealed Disc pin retainers.
Stainless, as a minimum, flapper and seat retainer. Flapper swings completely out of the flow path reducing pressure drop and turbulence.
Teflon seal installed in the seat retainer keeping it out of the flow stream for longer life. Field replaceable.
Mechanically locked in Retainer provides added safety and performance.

Valve supplied with Double Block and Bleed Capabilities as standard.
Large stem thrust bearing provides primary stem sealing and smooth operation.
Bearings on the ball isolate the stem from all side loading reducing torques and providing smooth operation
Upstream sealing seat carriers provided in multiple configurations. Soft seats in Celcon or Peek. Metal Sealing Tungsten Carbide mate lapped to the ball is also offered.

Building Block Flexibility built into every valve and fitting design gives TCS valves the adaptability for any combination of end connection which also allows for easy field replacement or reconfiguration.

Swivel Flanges offer the greatest flexibility allowing for mis-alignment and valve repositioning.
Ferry Cap screws in all LB7 Dual Certified. Xylan coated as required.
Buttweld tubes machined to match with existing pipe providing smooth transitions and minimal turbulence.
An EPDM marine environment corrosion gasket supplied with all connections whether fitting to fitting or valve to fitting and O-ring Weather seals.
Secondary O-ring seals on all faces.
Tube Bores and Fitting Bores all match providing better flow characteristics and reduced operating costs.
